How to use Trader Sentiment in Forex trading

Trader Sentiment shows how traders are positioned (buy vs sell) on a pair. It helps you spot when positioning becomes crowded and where the market may be vulnerable to stop-runs, squeezes, or reversals. Use sentiment as context and always confirm with price structure, liquidity, and session timing.

Step 1: Read the positioning (Buy % vs Sell %)

Identify whether the crowd is one-sided. Values above ~70% often indicate a crowded trade that can be vulnerable to a move against the crowd.

Step 2: Match it with structure + liquidity

Use H1/H4 to locate key highs/lows and liquidity pools. If sentiment is extreme, watch for sweeps and reactions at those levels before entering.

Step 3: Execute with confirmation (M15)

After a sweep, wait for rejection + structure shift, then use OB/FVG as confluence. Sentiment provides context; price action provides the trigger.
